Common Issues

Toothache

 

Toothaches can be caused by a wide range of issues.  Please schedule an appoint to see the dentist as soon as possible.

Knocked out or loosened tooth

 

If your tooth becomes loose due to trauma, call the office. For a knocked out tooth, place the tooth in a cup of milk and bring it to the office.  Reinsertion may be possible if seen quickly.

Broken, Cracked, or Chipped

 

Rinse your mouth with water and apply a cold compress to your face. Come to the office right away. If the tooth was broken or chipped, bring the tooth fragment with you.

Bitten Lip or Tongue

 

Apply firm pressure to the area with a paper towel for several minutes.  If bleeding persists, come to the office or to the local emergency room.
